Recreation Programs

Living in Cental is all about having fun, meeting your neighbors and making new friends. Throughout the year, the Town of Central Parks and Recreation Departments offers a variety of programs to all our citizens. Whether it is a local festival for all ages, an athletic camp for school age children or volunteer opportunities for our local seniors, there is something for everyone.

 

Parks & Recreation

We offer youth sports for children ages 5-17 including Baseball, Basketball, Flag Football, Softball, Football and Cheerleading. The Baseball, Basketball, and Softball programs are in cooperation with Clemson Parks and Recreation.

Fall 2026- Youth Football & Cheerleading Registration

Registration Dates- MAY 1ST-MAY 16TH

***Registration ends at 4:00pm May 16th***

Age Groups: **Age as of September 1, 2026**

***MUST BE 7 BY SEPTEMBER 1 TO PLAY***

Per State Rules: Players may not move up in age groups! No exceptions.

  • 8U
  • 10U
  • 12U

Please note: Each team is limited to 25 players (30 in 12U). If we reach an minimum of 50 players, we will create a second team.

  • Birth certificate is required.
  • You MUST reside in our boundary area to be eligible for All-Stars
  • Equipment to buy:
    • Practice pants
    • Chinstrap
    • Mouth Piece

***Equipment/Uniform Fitting- Week of June 1st***

Fees: 

  • $60 Central/Clemson Residents, $90 Non-Residents

****Scholarship/Financial Aid- Please stop by Central Town Hall during the registration period to complete the registration form.****

Youth Cheerleading:

**Age as of September 1, 2026**

**Each team is limited to 20 cheerleaders**

  • 8U
  • 10U
  • 12U

Fees: 

  • $35 Central/Clemson Residents, $50 Non-Residents
  • Uniform Fee- There is an additional fee (approx. $150) for the uniform
