Park & Depot Rental

The Town of Central's park facilities are available to groups and citizens to reserve for family gatherings, group parties, picnics, meetings, or other events. Rental opportunities are available for both the Park Buiding and the Central Historic Depot. Reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis and a fee is required.

 

Central Community Park Facility

The day hours constitute 9am-11pm. No activities will take place that would disrupt neighbors outside of these hours.  

  • All reservations require a $50 deposit (non-refundable if cancelled)
  • Rental fee $125 per day, paid before use so payment is $175
  • If cleaned and checklist is approved, get $50 deposit back. 
  • No fee for recreation teams or city related meetings
  • Employee fee for rental, $50 per day, no deposit required but must clean building. 
  • In certain instances, city related activities such as local schools or other related group may be approved by either the Administrator or Assistant Administrator for $50 fee to cover utilities.
  • Events must cease and premises vacated no later than 11pm. Please be advised that the Town’s Noise Ordinance pertains to the park as well to protect the neighbors’ privacy.

Central Historic Depot

  • Half-Day Rental Fee (6 hours or less) is $250 plus $50 deposit. Deposit forfeited if cancelled. If the building is cleaned and checklist approved, receive $50 deposit back. 
  • Full-Day Rential Fee (6 hours or more), $400 plus $50 deposit. Deposit forfeited if cancelled. If the building is cleaned and checklist approved, receive $50 deposit back. 
  • If rented for multiple days in a row, only one deposit is needed for final inspection. Deposit forfeited if cancelled. If the building is cleaned and checklist approved, receive $50 deposit back. 
  • For a special event where setup only is needed the night before but used for less than 6 hours the following day will be $350 plus $50 deposit. Deposit forfeited if cancelled. If the building is cleaned and checklist approved, receive $50 deposit back. 
  • For a special event where setup only is needed the night before and used more than 6 hours the following day will be $550 plus $50 deposit. Deposit forfeited if cancelled. If the building is cleaned and checklist approved, receive $50 deposit back. 
  • No fee for Town of Central related events or meetings
  • Recreation Teams may use the depot for team events. Coaches and parents must clean and monitor all activities to alleviate damage to the building and grounds. 
  • Employee fee for rental, $100 per day, no deposit required but must clean building. 
  • In certain instances, city related activities such as local schools or other related group may be approved by either the Administrator or Assistant Administrator for $100 fee to cover utilities.
  • If alcohol is approved by Police Chief, then will follow policy for having an officer on site during use. Once the approval letter and Officer invoice is issued by the Police Chief, payment, by the renter, for the police officer must be made before the event. 
  • Events must cease and premises vacated no later than 11pm. No activities should start before 9am. Please be advised that the Town’s Noise Ordinance pertains to the park as well to protect the neighbors’ privacy.
