Community Park Building Restoration Project
The Town of Central is accepting sealed bids for the restoration of the Central Community Park Building due to flooding. Job will entail demolition removal of all 2 layers, 1,360 sq ft of flooring down to the concrete floor, installing a concrete coating to replace the floor, sealing roof leak, and replacement of front door, door jam, storm door and lock system.
All contractors must be properly licensed and under the State of SC and Local Laws governing their trades and will be required to carry $1,000,000 general liability insurance, Workers Compensation regardless of the number of employees, obtain a Town of Central Business License for the General Contractor and all sub contractors and comply with the Illegal Immigration Reform Act. Bidders must demonstrate prior projects of similar nature.
A detailed Scope of Service and Bid Tabulation Sheet may be picked up at Central Town Hall located at 1067 West Main Street, Central, SC, 29630, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm. Requests for the packet to be emailed may be made by calling Town Hall at 864-639-6381 ext. 109, Kevin Schmidt, Director of Parks and Recreation. Sealed bids will be accepted until Tuesday, October 13th, 330pm at the Central Town Hall. The Town of Central is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
